Hi Elton,

Best of luck with the recovery. I think it\'s great that you will be able to get back in to NBA games this year despite suffering such a major injury. Makes for a nice reward for all your hard work rehabbing, a solid 30 games or so would be awesome. Hope to see you where you belong in the All-Star game this year.

Hi Elton, First of all how are you?? This is so unbeleiveable to me this couldn\'t happen to a more dedicated person then yourself. I know you are the one who suffered the injury but when I got the text message from a fellow season ticket holder on Friday as I was leaving work, I felt like I had been gut punched! That\'s how much you will be missed..Please take it easy and do what the Doctors tell you, don\'t rush it. I truly beleive all things happen for a reason. Get Well!! ClipperNation4ever!

Dear Elton,

I saw the report on ESPN about you rupturing your Achilles's tendon. I just ruptured mine last week, playing in a Basketball tournament for the Coast Guard. I just wanted to wish you luck in your recovery and rehab. I have been out of commission for about 7 days now, it really is hard to deal with. I hope we both get back to normal, and SOON! Take care, and please keep in touch. Maybe we can share info on how to get through this tough time.

Yo Elton-

sorry to hear about your injury. I tore my left achilles on January 19th, 2007 and had my surgery on Jan. 30th at Cedars in LA. I was just running and it snapped. It looks like a shark bite on my leg now from the scar. I still walk with a limp. You may have a bit of a limp for a long time, but you wont even notice you're limping. The tendon stays tight for a long time. I\'m sure you'll heal quicker than me since you\'re in shape but it\'s a tough thing to go through, but you got a great team of doctors and trainers over there I\'m sure. I got a synthetic achilles sewn in so they say its gonna be stronger when it fully heals. I talk to Donald Sterling quite a bit at the restaurant I work at (Koi on LaCienega), along with many of your former and current teammates and coaches. Anyways, I hope it heals quickly and you get back on the court soon. If you ever come in for dinner, look for the bartender with the limp.

Good luck bro....
